Layered Living

Highlights

Layered Living expanded this Smith Lake home’s outdoor living with a new covered, screened porch and an enlarged, tiered deck. The porch addition features a stone fireplace, exposed timber framing, and warm wood ceilings, creating an inviting space to relax and gather overlooking the lake. Integrated screen panels preserve expansive views, while stepped deck levels and built-in benches provide additional places to dine, lounge, and enjoy time beside the water. Recognized for exceptional craftsmanship, this home earned top honors in the Outdoor Living Under $150,000 category at the 2026 Alabama Remodeling Excellence Awards.
