Roads End Remodel

Highlights

Roads End Remodel honors a beloved childhood home on Smith Lake, renewing its exterior and outdoor living spaces for generations to come. Rebuilt decks and thoughtfully relocated stairs open the views toward Smith Lake, while new lakeside steps improve access to the water. A flagstone courtyard, locally sourced stone masonry, and boulder retaining walls bring natural texture to the landscape. Refreshed gazebo decking and railings, paired with a custom timber-framed grilling area, create welcoming places to gather while preserving the home’s enduring character. Recognized for exceptional craftsmanship, this home earned Runner-Up in the Exterior Remodel category at the 2025 Alabama Remodeling Excellence Awards.
